This elegant contemporary cabinet of curiosities is a novelty for the museum collection of 70 million objects including natural history specimens, works of art and cultural artefacts which are presented at the most advanced technical and aesthetic level.

In collaboration with the London based designers Casson Mann and The Hub as general contractor, GLASBAU HAHN has created two large display cases in the East and West Lobby, and a series of 20 free-standing cases integrated into one central plinth of black granite dominating the new Treasures Gallery at the Natural History Museum.

Situated in Hangzhou City of Zhejiang Province, China National Silk Museum was opened to the public in 1992. The largest state-level professional silk museum of China exhibits silk products from the Neolithic Age to Han, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties. Some of these delicate fabrics are presented inside 4 HAHN wall cases equipped with the active climate control system HAHN RK-2-Xa.

Custom built 2 m high all-glass free-standing display case for the historical clock work of 1908, which stopped working in 2005 and was restored by the clock 'doctor' Jürgen Windecker in Frankfurt. The local community collected the funds to preserve this document of time.
