HAHN-Louvre Windows S9iV and
S9iVt-05 can be used wherever optimal adjustable ventilation is required,
together with an elegant aesthetic appearance and a high degree of air-tightness
once closed. Typical examples are schools and kindergartens, kitchens, stairways,
skylights, conservatories and other glazed constructions. A single blade
HAHN-Louvre Window positioned above fixed glazing is particularly recommended,
avoiding rain and dirt washing down over the main area of glazing.

If insect screens are required, the windows can be equipped with offset
bearings, which allow the glass blades to open mainly to the outside.

HAHN-Louvre Windows S9iV
are made of aluminium, either silver anodised or powder-coated in
any RAL colour. The control mechanism can be at either left or right
hand sides, and is combined with the locking system. Special handles
can be incorporated for remote control. (By request)
The glazing seals feature double weather strips with a nylon lip between.
The horizontal sections at the head and the sill use silicone profiles
to seal. The horizontal glass edges are enclosed with special aluminium
sections which have two weather seals and overlap for air-tightness.
On request the HAHN-Louvre Window S9iV can be made as an S9iVt-05,
which incorporates a thermal barrier in the aluminium profiles.

HAHN-Louvre Window S9iV
and S9iVt-05 are produced with 1, 2, 3, or 4 louvres, which are controlled
by one handle. Larger sizes can be achieved by a combination of any
of these four basic models. Our concealed operating system „
Metro“ allows up to 12 louvres linked to only one handle (prefered
link for remote control). If the height of the opening cannot be made
to suit the louvre elements, the louvres can be adapted in height.
Further, the height of the louvre blades can be increased up to 300 mm. The width of the window should not exceed 1600
mm. Larger widths can be achieved by using multiple units with vertical
dividing bars between.
