Permanently clean and contaminant-free air in the interior of a display case is indispensable for the preservation of precious cultural treasures. With the help of INTERCEPT® filter pads, corrosive gases inside a display case or storage cabinet can be passively reduced as well neutralised in their damaging effects on the object. With this method it is irrelevant whether the corrosive gases derive from the environment, e.g. the packaging, or the object material itself. The protective impact is not influenced by relative humidity. It is continuously active through the full spectrum of climate parameters. Supplementing GLASBAU HAHN RK units for active air conditioning by the HAHN- INTERCEPT® - process, the ambient air will be cleaned through this specialised particle filter. This product will absorb dust, pollutants and others harmful substances. The clean air can be conditioned with the help of an RK-2-unit and will then be introduced into the display case.
