The National Museum of Qatar gives voice to the unique story of Qatar and its people from earliest times to the present day and onwards towards its future.
Designed to be both immersive and experiential, visitors can expect to encounter a rich environment to explore. Organized in three “chapters” — Beginnings, Life in Qatar, and The Modern History of Qatar, each theme is presented across eleven highly individual galleries.
Last week the National Museum of Qatar opened its doors to the public. GLASBAU HAHN GmbH is delighted to be part of this spectacular project designed by Ateliers Jean Nouvel and commissioned by MAN Enterprise Qatar - Empty S.L. JV . We are happy to contribute 10 table cases to the museum, called "Timeline Showcases", of which the longest version measures 7119 mm consisting of only a single glass panel. Take a look at the opening ceremony here (you can see the "Timeline Showcases" between 2:50:36 and 3:08:41) https://youtu.be/3XARRMEwLlI
